Owning a professional blender allows you to make a lot more than just milkshakes and juices. You may be surprised to find you can make condiments, drinks, desserts, soups, sauces, and more with your blender. Use a bit of imagination and the options become endless. If you’re not convinced that a professional blender is for you, take a look at just a few of the quality blender reviews online to see the exciting things you can grind with ease when you add one to your own kitchen.

1 – Almond Milk

Currently, almond milk is a hot item, especially for people who choose not to use dairy milk. Many people find that almond milk is tastier than soy milk; however, it can be expensive. With your own professional blender, you can grind up almonds without a problem, adding water to turn it into homemade almond milk. You’ll save money and you’ll have a healthy alternative to dairy milk that can be used in many ways.

2 – Peanut Butter

Another thing you can grind in a professional blender is whole peanuts to make peanut butter. All natural peanut butter offers great flavor and a wonderful source of protein, but the price of all natural peanut butter can be prohibitive for many people. Get that tasty peanut butter without the high price by grinding up your own peanuts and turning it into homemade peanut butter that everyone can enjoy.

3 – Whole Wheat Flour

If you’re health conscious and you like to avoid white flour products whenever possible, your professional blender can come to the rescue. With the blender, you can make your own whole wheat flour with ease. Try using buckwheat, oats, or even spelt to make healthy flours that can be used in pancakes, bread, muffins, and more.

4 – Ground Coffee

Do you love the flavor of freshly ground coffee? If so, you can enjoy this wonderful flavor every single day by using your blender to grind whole coffee beans. Within a few seconds, coffee beans can be ground to brew the freshest cup of coffee possible. Since grinding the coffee beans is so easy, you can grind beans every day to make sure you always have a great tasting pot of coffee to start your day.

5 – Shaved Ice

Shaving ice is another thing that can be done with your professional blender. Add ice and use the grind feature and you’ll have that shaved ice fast. Use the shaved ice to make tasty snow cones, your own fruit slushies, iced coffee, or even tasty frozen desserts. Just make sure your blender can handle this task without damaging it.

6 – Cornmeal

You probably don’t want to spend time grinding corn to make cornmeal by hand. However, you can have the same great taste of home ground cornmeal by using your blender to grind up the corn or popcorn. Cornmeal can then be used to make cornbread, cornmeal muffins, and other tasty recipes that call for cornmeal. Since you’re making it yourself, you won’t have to worry about unhealthy additives either, which is a huge benefit.

7 – Vegetable and Fruit Smoothies

You’ll also be able to grind up vegetables and fruits with your blender, which allows you to make tasty smoothies that are healthy and packed with antioxidants. Spinach smoothies have become popular because of the huge nutritional punch they pack. You can grind up spinach along with some fruits for a wonderful smoothie that is full of great vitamins and nutrients. Since you’ll taste the fruits, you’ll never know the spinach is even in the smoothie.

8 – Tomato Sauce

While you can purchase canned tomato sauces, making your own provides you with better nutrition and better taste. With the help of a professional blender, you can grind up tomatoes to make your own sauce. Add tomatoes to the blender and within a couple minutes you will have a fresh, tasty sauce. For added flavor, toss in a variety of herbs. You can even experiment with different ingredients to make various tomato sauces, from spaghetti sauce to pizza sauce.

9 – Homemade Ice Cream

Tasty homemade ice creams can be made with the grinding feature that is offered on a professional blender. Homemade ice cream is always tasty and a high quality blender makes it much easier and healthier to make. You can easily blend frozen fruits and a bit of milk to make a creamy healthy treat the whole family can enjoy. Everyone is sure to enjoy these cold desserts, especially in the hot summer months.

10 – Hummus

Last, you can even mix up a creamy batch of hummus if you have a professional blender in your kitchen. Hummus is a hearty healthy addition to any diet and can be eaten as a dip, as a condiment, and in many other ways. To make your own hummus you’ll need some cooked garbanzo beans, lemon juice and spices. Quickly blend up hummus for a quick snack or for a nice dip to serve at parties.

As you can see, a professional blender can be used to create many tasty treats. These are only a few of the things you can grind up in the blender. Use your imagination, learn from others and you’ll be sure to come up with many other uses that will make the blender well worth the purchase.

Creating a Pleasant Home Workspace

Yazar: admin  |  Kategori: home decor  |  Yorum: Yok   |

shutterstock 74656294 Creating a Pleasant Home WorkspaceWorking from home needn’t be an unproductive thing, especially if you have a rocking workspace. There are many benefits if you’ve got the right set up, not least of which is commuting time – which is about three seconds. Here’s how you can get the most out of your office at home…

Furniture:

If you’re on a budget, the best place to concentrate your cash flow is on a good chair. Your work productivity will be far more hampered by an uncomfortable chair than it will by a less expensive desk. Take the time to sit in chairs and feel the support they provide before choosing one. Instead of buying an expensive desk, a door placed over two cabinets is a perfect way to create a large deck space with minimal fuss.

Lighting:

Just like in any workplace, lighting can make your space more comfortable, or a nightmare to work in. Old style fluorescent lights are hard on the eyes and can cause far more strain. Rather invest in a lamp that uses bulbs with soft lighting that’s easy on the eyes. Also, try and let as much natural light into the room as possible.

Accessibility:

If you’re working from home it’s easy to be interrupted all the time, especially if kids, animals or other people are around. It’s important to set some levels of privacy so that you can work uninterrupted for your chosen amount of time. Set yourself breaks throughout the day for interaction with the kids, a fuss of the dog or a cup of coffee in another room. The most important thing to remember about a work space is that you need to be able to enter ‘work mode’ when you walk in and feel like you’re off work when you leave – try to not mix the two.

 Connectivity:

You’ll need to be connected to the internet. Before setting up your home office decide what kind of connection you’ll be using and be sure to check if reception and coverage is good in the area. If you’re using a phone line, ensure that you have a separate one for work calls and home calls as you don’t want to get interrupted by private calls if the family phone rings. You can also avoid the cost and space that a fax machine takes up by using online services that allow you to send and receive faxes over e-mail or on your mobile phone.

Setup:

Put everything where you want it and try out your new office for a few days before you tidy up wires and knock nails into the wall. That way you’ll get a better idea of how everything flows and how easily you can move around with your new set up. Once again, if you’re on a budget you don’t need to spend a lot of money, but make it as pleasant as you can. A fresh coat of paint and a few touch ups can go a long way in making the environment one you want to be in.

Yazar: admin  |  Kategori: home decor  |  Yorum: Yok   |

shutterstock 78910384 300x200 Bathroom Cleaners That Do the Job for YouFor many people, cleaning the bathroom is only a notch above having a root canal. For others, the root canal may be preferable. It doesn’t have to be this way, though. Advances in bathroom cleaners over recent years have made it possible to keep a spic and span bathroom without the back-breaking work.

Automatic Bathroom Cleaners Make it Painless

There was a time that in order to clean your bathroom, you needed an entire arsenal of home cleaning products at your disposal. Even then it seemed that nothing could effectively eliminate the inevitable stains that would occur in the toilet and tub. Scrub though you may, there were just some things you had to live with.

Now there are automatic bathroom cleaners that do the job for you. They come in several forms, but some of the more popular include:

  • Automatic shower cleaners that spray the surfaces of your shower after each use
  • Stick-on cleaning gels that go inside the toilet bowl and release a cleanser with every flush
  • The traditional toilet bowl cleaners that go inside the water tank and work similarly to the gel variety. These are becoming less popular because it is hard to tell when they are exhausted without removing the tank lid.

The Automatic Bathroom Cleaners Revolution

Everyone knows that the best cure is prevention. When water is allowed to sit, as occurs in a toilet, or soap and body oil residues are allowed to accumulate, as occurs in a shower or bathtub, stains begin to form. If these stains are not dealt with promptly, they can become stubborn and unsightly.

Automatic bathroom cleaners are revolutionary for two reasons:

  1. They prevent the problem before it has a chance to become a problem.
  2. They take all the time and effort out of cleaning the bathroom.

Automatic bathroom cleaners deliver a steady, frequent burst of cleaning power every time it’s used. It’s still a good idea to give the toilet a quick swish now and again, but you won’t have to scrub it. Likewise, wiping down the shower and tub every few days will maximize the efficiency of your automatic shower cleaner, but when the major cleaning day comes there won’t be much left for you to do.

If you are looking for a way to simply your cleaning schedule then automatic bathroom cleaners are the way to go. Take the time and headache out of bathroom cleaning by adding one or more of these revolutionary cleaning products to your bathroom today. It certainly beats a root canal and you’ll have a bathroom that is always guest-ready, no matter where you are in your cleaning schedule.

Now that you have become educated on bathroom cleaners, you might find the need to learn more about bathtub cleaning products.
